About Me

I'm just a simple gal from the Philly suburbs now living in the DC area for over 11 years. I'm full of moxie and kinda funny too funny -- sort of a cross between Tina Fey and Jane Austen. Even though I work in PR, I should really be a writer for SNL. I love my family and friends, and anyone who knows me will tell you that I'm very proud of my Italian heritage. I thought it would be fun to create a website and post photos and funny stories, especially for those of you whom I don't get to see or talk to much. If you have a photo or a story you would like me to post, please send it along. Enjoy!

NYC

Last week I spent a considerable amount of time holed up in the Essex House hotel in Manhattan for work. It was a fantastic occasion but very tiring. Apparently Michael Douglas was at the bar in the hotel but I missed him unfortunately. I was able to sneak out on Friday late afternoon and feed the shoe beast at Saks. The shoe dept is absolutely amazing. Friday night I met up with my friend Ali who lives in DC during the week and in NYC on the weekends. We went to a few places down in SoHo where he lives (next door to where Heath Ledger lived..spooky) and had a good time. Here's a cute pic of us..

My gals

On Saturday I watched my nieces and nephew for a while so Whitney could run some errands. Although Benny was out, we played a little dress-up with berets I brough back for everyone from Paris. As you can see, Ava (18 mo old) has a thing for magic markers. They belong in magazines if you ask me, but I may be a little biased..

Photos from Paris

Yes, I took this photo. I'm an awful photographer but this one came out (taken from my hotel room). Over President's Day weekend, my friend and travel buddy Lisa and I went to Paris. Some people wondered why we would go to Paris for a long weekend and I think the simple answer is because I'm single and I can. The fact that we both had credits on Delta airlines and her brother who works for Starwood Hotels got us a ridiculous deal at the Westin Paris didn't hurt either. Since I now know that my friend Jason who lives in Jackson Hole reads this blog, I promised I would add more photos and posts. So this is for Jason..

First of many takes of the Eiffel Tower

The Lourve pyramid (incase you haven't seen the DaVinci Code)

The real Mona Lisa.

Lisa and I in front of the Venus De Milo.

The Arc de Triomphe

No one does street food like the Parisians. Witness a banana and chocolate filled crepe.

The best lunch ever.

Lisa and I cleaned up a little.
